About Me

I am a senior lecturer in Mathematics and Statistics at Lancaster University. My main research interests are in the area of Probability, specifically using conformal mappings and ideas from Schramm-Loewner Evolution (SLE) to study random growth processes. Further information about my research can be found on my research and publications pages.

I have taught a range of modules at both Undergraduate and Masters level, mainly in areas relating to Probability, Measure Theory and Stochastic Processes. Lancaster University students can access the course materials for my modules here.

Information about my current research projects and PhD students can be found on my official university website here. I would be interested in taking on further PhD students with backgrounds in Probability, Real or Complex Analysis, or Mathematical Physics. If you would like to find out about potential projects, please contact me.
