Welcome to the website for the 36th Annual Research Students' Conference in Probability, Statistics and Social Statistics.
The conference will take place on the 25th-28th March 2013 at Lancaster University.
The conference booklet can be accessed here.
The conference is open to PhD students or equivalent in any field relating to probability, statistics or social statistics.
This year we are extending the scope of the conference to also include social statisticians.
The RSC is a conference that is organised for students by students. We aim to provide a friendly atmosphere where you can make inter-institution connections and discuss ideas freely. Furthermore, this will be the first opportunity for some delegates to present their research before an international audience. There are no entry requirements and all delegates are encouraged to present some of their work either by a talk or a poster, although this is not mandatory.
The RSC is committed to allowing all those who wish to present their research to do so. However, places at the conference are limited and applicants are admitted on a first come first serve basis.
