Baz's Otter Rehabilitation Scheme

Three otters from the Alaska were taken to the UK for rehoming after a short stay at Seattle Aquarium.

Otto was found a place shortly after arrival.

These two otters, called Oscar and Oswald, arrived in August as Baz returned from the Earthwatch Sea Otters project.

 

A fast and powerful swimmer, Oscar likes to feed mainly on crabs:

Oswald is a little slower, and catches things that don't move very fast. Here he gets his teeth into a clam shell:

At the moment they are happy together in their holding tank, prior to being sent to more suitable facilities.
