I am a PhD student supervised by Paul Fearnhead and Mairi Levitt. My interests cover most areas of bioethics, but I am particularly interested in genetic and reproductive technologies and how people make decisions about these. This includes issues of how people conceptualise consent for such technologies. I'm also interested in the contribution of sociology to bioethics and medical sociology in general. Working in the area of applied social statistics I am also interested in the application of statistical analysis to social data.
