Emma Eastoe

Rydal and Grasmere

I am a lecturer in the Department of Maths and Statistics at Lancaster University. My research interests lie in the development of statistical models for extreme values, using results motivated by extreme value theory. More generally, I am interested in the statistical modelling of environmental data.

Prior to my appointment as a lecturer I worked, under Jonathan Tawn at Lancaster University and in collaboration with CEH Wallingford, as an RA on the NERC FREE funded project `A data driven exploratory study of extreme events based on joint probability analysis'. I continue to work on this project.

More details of my research can be found here, alternatively you can download a copy of my CV (pdf).
