Visit the department

All applicants who have been offered a place, conditionally or unconditionally, will receive an invitation to visit the Department and meet some of the staff and students.

In 2012 our open days were held on the following dates.

• Saturday 28th January
• Saturday 11th February
• Wednesday 15th February
• Saturday 18th February
• Wednesday 22nd February
• Wednesday 7th March
• Saturday 10th March

Dates for 2013 will be announced in due course.

Campus tours

As an alternative to the Departmental Open Days, you may wish to attend a Campus Tour. These are organised by the University and held throughout the year, expect for August and September when the Visit Days take place. Some include a Departmental Drop-In Session, which will be hosted by the department's Admissions Team. For precise dates and more information, see the University's Campus Tours page.

Annual visit days

The university holds special Visit Days for those thinking of applying here. They will be held on the following dates in 2012.

• Wednesday 29th August
• Saturday 22nd September

At these events you have the opportunity to take a guided tour of the university, look at the campus accommodation, attend talks by departments and chat informally with students, the Admissions Tutor and other staff. It is essential to book your place on line.
