Statistical research at Lancaster emphasises both the development of new methodology and problems of application in the natural, social and biomedical sciences. We are active in areas of Applied Probability, Applied Statistics, Bayesian statistics, Extremes, Financial Statistics, Medical Statistics, Medical and Pharmaceutical Statistics, Operational Research and Statistical Genetics.
