Lancaster researchers win the 2010 International Research Prize from the Australasian Society for the Study of Intellectual Disability

Dr Gillian Lancaster and Dr Damon Berridge from Maths and Statistics, along with colleagues Prof Eric Emerson and Dr Said Shahtahmasebi from the Institute of Health Research, have won the 2010 International Research Prize from the Australasian Society for the Study of Intellectual Disability for their paper entitled "Poverty transitions among families supporting a child with intellectual disability" published in the Journal of Intellectual and Developmental Disability volume 35, number 4. The paper was judged to be the most outstanding contribution among all papers published in JIDD throughout 2010.
