MSc Programmes

We offer the following MSc Programmes

• The MSc Programme in Statistics includes pathways in Environmental Statistics, Medical Statistics, and Pharmaceutical Statistics.
• The Msc in Applied Social Statistics offers postgraduate training in social science statistical methodology, and is designed for social scientists and others who are interested in quantitative methods.
  • The PgDip in Applied Social Statistics offers postgraduate training in social science statistical methodology. It follows the same programme of study as the MSc in Applied Social Statistics , but without the dissertation component.
  • The PGCert of Achievement in Applied Social Statistics offers students the opportunity to study and gain a qualification for selected combinations of modules from the MSC in Applied Social Statistics.
• The MSc in Quantitative Finance , taught jointly with Lancaster University's Management School, provides you with the necessary skills and relevant knowledge and understanding to pursue a career in banking and finance.
