Granville Tunnicliffe-Wilson (academic staff, statistics)

I retired at the end of 2007 having been a member of the department for over 40 years, and Reader in Statistics for some 20 years. I now have the position of Emeritus Reader and continue collaborative research with former students and staff.

Research Interests

• Modelling and inference for time series, particularly dependence between time series.
• Development of algorithms and software for time series modelling.
• Applications in physical, environmental and medical sciences, engineering, econometrics and finance.

Personal Interests

• I enjoy vegetable gardening and bee keeping.
• I regularly perform with Hornby Occasionals - mostly G&S, and presently chair the society.
• I am also active in my home village church in Yealand, and in other community ventures.
