After graduating with a degree in Archaeological Sciences I fell into statistics by completing for a Ph.D. in calibration methods and adult human age estimation. Since then I have studied calibration methods for climate reconstruction, and became involved with forensic statistics at Edinburgh University.
Research Interests
- The basis and nature of evidence.
- Multivariate problems of `matching'.
- Use of graphical modelling for dimensional reduction.
