An invitation to nonassociative analysis

Cho-Ho Chu, Queen Mary, University of London

Nonassociative analysis takes place in Jordan algebras and is closely related to noncommutative analysis since the self-adjoint parts of operator algebras are Jordan algebras. We discuss some differentiable manifolds in Jordan algebras, which may be infinite dimensional, as a possible setting for nonassociative analysis.
